✨ Get ready to move, shine, and take up space! ✨

Join us in Basel on SATURDAY 17 MAY 2025 from 14:00-17:00 for BODIES UNBOUND — a high-energy dance workshop celebrating freedom, expression, and unapologetic joy!
Open to 🏳️⚧️ trans and non-binary folks and anyone identifying as a woman, this afternoon includes a warm-up, learning a short street/contemporary combo, and creating your own mini choreography inspired by the theme “Get Off My Body” — a fierce and fabulous call for autonomy and power.
All levels welcome — no experience needed, just bring your energy and self! The workshop ends with an optional chance to join a flashmob and be part of a bold new dance film shot right here in Basel.
Come dance with us before Eurovision lights up the city that evening — let’s celebrate pride, bodies, and movement together! 🌈 🏳️⚧️

Rhythms of Recovery Dance Theatre (RoRDT) is an invitation to move. A artistic pillar and core approach within Muvaffak Dance Theatre, RoRDT brings together neurodivergent people and professional dance artists to explore dance in an affirming, freeing space. At Nermin Muvaffak Dance Theatre, we embrace the Rhythms of Recovery—movement that liberates, transforms, and challenges perceptions.

… an invitation to move
We believe in the power of movement to amplify neurodivergent voices and bodies. Our Rhythms of Recovery projects, performances, and workshops are open to those who want to explore dance beyond conventional boundaries.
This is not therapy— it’s space to move, connect, and create without judgment. Led by professional dancers and open to all levels of experience, our sessions explore rhythm, improvisation, creativity and expression, valuing everyone’s unique movement language.
Join us in workshops, open rehearsals, and performance-based projects. Whether you dance in your kitchen or not at all, you’re welcome here.
Nermin Muvaffak Dance Theatre is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance. Within it, Rhythms of Recovery Dance Theatre serves as a cutting-edge ensemble, exploring movement at the intersection of neurodivergence, embodiment, and radical physicality.
